For the upcoming route of youngsters and of the humanity in general at the dawn of the 21st century, we consider the redefinition of education as particularly significant. The return to the roots and the new definition of principals will aim to this.

All the above mentioned, are suggested in this work of art by the opened book with the ancient Greek letters, the evolution of the youngsters is implied by the pyramid of identical masks: their number, multiple of 5, leads us to think of the five continents and it is chosen to declare the global character of the subject.

In-between Humanism and Modern Times - Thoughts of the Destination and the Purpose of Education

One more book, symbol of knowledge, this time combined with forms of sculpture, is proposed by Nikos and Pandelis Sotiriadis, within an appetite for redefinition of the principals that rule education and for searching the relation between the learners and learning. With knowledge as a starting point, an anonymous crowd of students begins to conquer small and big visions and targets nearby or further on. The top of the pyramid of bronze masks is the end of journey. Although knowledge is a good that everyone has a right to, only a few are the ones who completely conquer it, protect and nourish it.
